Data Security

We take the security of both user and operator data very seriously and always aim to handle data with the highest standards. 222 Sports Ltd. is registered with the UK Information Commissioner (Ref. Z280218X) as a data controller. The company is committed to data protection and implementing the latest security best practices, to ensure continuous compliance it has chosen to adopt the processes recommended by the UK Government National Cyber Security Centre as part of the Cyber Essentials accreditation.

The SWIMTAG system has been designed to minimise the handling of personal data to only where is absolutely necessary, the SWIMTAG docking station software does not require a connection to your own membership system and is completely standalone in its operation, only an internet connection is required. The only personal data required is provided by the swimmers themselves when they create their SWIMTAG account.

Whilst logged into your SWIMTAG account all information that passes between our servers and your computer as well as all data transmitted from the SWIMTAG docking station to our servers is securely encrypted over HTTPS, according to industry standard best practice. The strongest encryption algorithms (SHA 256) offered by your browser are prioritised. You can confirm the security of the connection between SWIMTAG and your computer by reviewing the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.

Our operators and swimmers information is held securely in data centres located in Ireland. These data centres meet the strictest security standards, including ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 certification, and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

As well as having a highly available, fault-tolerant database underpinning the application we also implement point-in-time recovery. Daily database snapshots are available should they ever be required. These technical and organisational measures help ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability at all times.

Docking Station Computers

If clients would like to run the SWIMTAG Docking Station software on a separate computer at reception we have two options available. In both cases the Docking Station Tower connects via USB to upload swimmer's swim data to the website.

Aures Yuno

Operators requiring a self service SWIMTAG system will be delighted with the look and feel of the Aures Yuno. The Yuno is a robust but stylish and compact product ideal for operating the SWIMTAG Docking Station at your pool reception.

It is a fanless, compact, high-performance system equipped with a shock-proof and scratch-proof, multi-touch, projected, capacitive screen (PCAP technology).

As standard the YUNO is stand alone however it can be wall or pole mounted. The Yuno is supplied with a fantastic 3 year warranty from Aures offering a sensible, cost-effective and long-term investment your SWIMTAG system.

Shell+15 Kiosk

We also offer imageHolders Shell+15 enclosure as a highly secure kiosk solution which is designed for use in heavy footfall environments. The Shell+15 enclosure can be mounted on a custom swivel mount or a fixed arm and branded with your operator logo. The Shell+15 encloses an Aures Yuno touch screen and card reader enabling swimmers to quickly and easily activate their own SWIMTAG.

Lane Displays

Our new MK2 lane displays are a great way to further improve the user experience at any SWIMTAG pool. The robust screens lets swimmers know how many lengths or how far they have swum in real time and can also be used to help them keep to a set pace. The large bright digital screen is easily seen, even through misty goggles. The swimmer simply raises their band in front of a screen when they want to see their stats.

The lane displays have been hugely popular with SWIMTAG users - they no longer see their swim notification and realise they've only done 98 lengths when they were planning to do 100!

Bigger Screen

The LARGE bright digital screen is easily seen, even through misty goggles. The swimmer simply raises their band in front of a screen when they want to see their stats.

The TFT Screen is also plastic which improves the overall durability of the hardware

New Charger

We have designed our own robust wireless charger:

  • Simple drop in design ensure maximum wireless power transfer
  • LED charge indicators
  • Screw holes to fix the charge to a shelf or table
  • Integrated cables to avoid loosing power supplys

Compatability

Lane Displays are compatible with both MK3 and MK4 wristbands.

Pools cannot mix MK1 and MK2 versions of the Lane Displays

Display Modes

The lane displays can be configured by the swimmer via their SWIMTAG account settings, swimmers can pick from the following modes

Default Mode

The lane displays tells the swimmer how many lengths they have completed or the distance in meters

Target Pace Mode

The swimmer sets a target swim pace that they would like to swim at and the lane display tells them if they are too fast or slow

Challenge Progress

The lane display updates the swimmer with their current challenge progress

Training Plan Progress

The lane display updates the swimmer on their current training plan informing them of the next swimming set to complete

SWIMTAG Software

If you would like to install the Docking Station software on your own computer we provide a Windows Application that can be installed an any (Windows 7 upwards) compatible computer.

Our SWIMTAG Docking Station application has been designed for installation on reception POS hardware or a stand alone computer at reception. The Docking Station tower can be connected to a spare USB socket on the POS hardware. The Docking Station tower will also require a single 240V power socket.

A shortcut to open the application named Club SWIMTAG is installed on the desktop and the reception team can minimise the application to the taskbar when its not in use.  The application can read swimmer's membership card /  wristband / key using a HID or COM Port reader. The application will log the ID number of the membership card and activate a wristband for the user.

Club SWIMTAG Equipment

The Club SWIMTAG system includes a few different components depending on the setup at your pool, at the core is the docking station tower, wristbands and card (or RFID) reader, these are used to issue the bands to your swimmers

Our docking station software controls the tower, manages the wristbands and ensures the swimmers data is uploaded to the website, this software can be installed on your own computer or we can provide a standalone computer/kiosk to run it.

Use the links above to explore the diffent options available for your pool. You can also view our video demonstrating how the equipment is setup.
